More than eight hundred male and female runners, including participants from the USA, France, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and, of course, Poland, have already registered for this prestigious half marathon. According to the organiser, the entry limit is one thousand people. Registration

The fee is PLN 60 until the end of September and PLN 100 after that date.
The half marathon is held over a distance of 21,097 metres. It has the distinctive atmosphere of a park run. The start is at 11 a.m. The Miłkowice Brass Band will perform at the stadium for runners and spectators; V.I.P. and Oscar Wawrzynowicz will play and sing at the hairpin bend by Wilson Square, while Private Dancer will perform at the square by Oświęcimska Street.
Every participant will receive a commemorative towel with the Half Marathon logo and, after crossing the finish line, a medal and a hot meal. The best runners will also receive attractive cash prizes.
The Half Marathon will be preceded by the One-Mile Family Run, which will start at 9:30 a.m. from the athletics fields, following a route along the avenues of the Municipal Park. The organisers invite children, young people and adults to take part; together they will cover approximately 1,600 metres. Registration for this run is available at ci@osir.legnica.pl, in person at the office at 7 Najświętszej Marii Panny Street or on the day of the event. Participation is free.
