The aim was to clean up the village and the surrounding sołectwos. Plastic bottles, canisters and cans were collected from ditches and forest edges. The collected waste filled three vehicles. The residents of Naroczyce supported the operation by clearing their properties of broken buckets, flowerpots and old bowls.

– I would very much like to thank the village head, Władysław Bigus, for leasing the municipal lot free of charge, as well as the Górzyn sołectwo, where the operation was coordinated by volunteer Anna Walczak. The entire volunteer group and the children’s parents put tremendous heart into this event – said the group’s supervisor, Wiera Zgobik.

The money raised from the sale of the plastic waste will be donated to the Children’s Hospice in Wrocław.
