On Saturday, the BKS Bolesławiec senior team faced Górnik Złotoryja. The match was played in difficult weather conditions. The wet pitch and low temperature made playing difficult. In the first half, the Bolesławiec side had several good opportunities to score. In the 22nd minute, Tomasz Jasiński played the ball into the five-metre area to Paweł Rissman, but a visiting defender got to the latter first. In the 30th minute, Tomasz Jasiński shot from 16 metres, but the ball hit the crossbar. A minute later, Paweł Demczar struck powerfully, but the visitors’ goalkeeper managed to catch the ball. In the 45th minute, Tomasz Jasiński again tried to beat the Górnik goalkeeper. The technically struck ball was heading for the top corner, but the Górnik goalkeeper, with great difficulty, managed to parry it for a corner.

In the 47th minute, following a corner for BKS, Paweł Rissmann headed wide. In the 60th minute, our team took the lead. Jacek Jasiński scored from a tight angle. Just five minutes later, the Bolesławiec side were already 2–0 ahead. The goal came after a free kick taken by Paweł Demczar. Tomasz Jasiński took advantage of the goalkeeper’s uncertain clearance. In the 73rd minute, Radek Pietkiewicz failed to convert an excellent opportunity. BKS dominated and attacked, but no more goals were scored in the match. With Saturday’s victory, our players made amends for their most recent away defeat to Nysa Zgorzelec (1–3). The match against Górnik Złotoryja was one of two fixtures from the spring round played ahead of schedule. Our team still have an away match against Górnik Wałbrzych.
