Film-makers may use various film genres: reportage, interview, documentary, fictional story, etc. The film may be made by one person or a team of no more than three people. The permitted running time of the competition film is 10 minutes.

To enter a film in the competition, a digital copy on CD or DVD in AVI or MPG format, together with a completed entry form, must be delivered by 19 October to the Orzeł Cultural Integration Centre, 17 Chopina Street.

The aim of the competition is to promote a healthy lifestyle; show the harmful effects of smoking on people, society and the environment; shape assertive attitudes; provide justification for and strengthen attitudes committed to not smoking; present and promote creative film achievements; stimulate young people’s creativity; and help them learn and improve their skills in using filmmaking techniques and the language of film.

The competition is organised by the District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Bolesławiec and the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre–International Ceramic Centre. Honorary patronage over the competition has been assumed by Jacek Klakoćar, Lower Silesian State Provincial Sanitary Inspector, and Piotr Roman, Mayor of Bolesławiec.
