The incident occurred on September 10 near the Jubilat store. At the scene, the officers found a woman (45) and a man (65), both residents of Jelenia Góra. They stated that they were collecting money for the treatment of a sick seven-year-old child. They also said which company they represented and showed their identification cards.

The officers contacted the manager of the company listed on the documents. They were informed that neither the woman nor the man had worked with the company for two years and that the documents they were using were invalid.

The officers carefully checked the identification cards for authenticity. During the inspection, it turned out that some of the information on them had been added or altered. In addition, the man did not have any authorization to collect money.

As a result, the woman and the man were taken to a police station.
