The event, held on 6 September this year, was organized by Rotary Club Karpacz Karkonosze, the Karpacz City Hall and Karkonoski Park Narodowy. A total of 350 participants took part; only 20 of them failed to reach the destination.
Police officer Dariusz Barczyński reached Śnieżka in 83rd place, while placing 31st in his age category. The event was charitable, with the proceeds to be allocated to academic scholarships for talented children in difficult financial circumstances.
All participants who reached the summit of Śnieżka received a commemorative medal and a T-shirt specially designed for the occasion. The winners of the individual age categories were honored with trophies.
