Following the Nature Trails of the Lower Silesian Wilderness

This year, as part of the Mushroom Festival in Węgliniec, you can discover the Lower Silesian Wilderness in two ways: on your own or in a group—there is something for everyone.

The “Stary Węgliniec” Nationwide Rally Group proposes:

a trip along an organised route (approx. 32 km) through the most beautiful areas of the Lower Silesian Wilderness, with a picnic at the Asuan Tourist and Nature Refuge
or an orienteering trip: on your own or in small groups.

“The idea is to discover what is beautiful in our forests with a touch of healthy competition,” say the organisers. “We will meet on 12 September at 9:00 a.m. in the Municipal Park in Węgliniec.

Residents of Zgorzelec can reach Węgliniec by train. The train departs from Zgorzelec Ujazd station at 7:38 a.m. and from Zgorzelec Miasto station at 7:41 a.m.

Detailed information about the trip organised by the “Stary Węgliniec” Nationwide Rally Group is available on the Zgorzelec County website.
