150 cyclists gathered at the starting point in front of the OSiR headquarters. They headed to Dunino through the City Park, along the embankment by the Kaczawa River to Jaworzyńska Street, and then via Borsucza, Myśliwska and Smokowicka streets towards the “Stary Młyn”, a place very popular with visitors during the holidays.
The organiser provided refreshments on site, including grilled sausages. The beautiful scenery and weather encouraged participants to play volleyball and badminton and take part in target-throwing activities. Those seeking to cool off could bathe in the river.
The police, emergency medical services and members of the Legnica-based Ekorama Association of Bicycle Tourism watched over the safety of the excursion participants during the ride.
