The duty officer of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters received information from the fire service about a woman who had self-harmed. The officer was informed that the caller had cut herself and disconnected during the conversation.
The police officer immediately called the number provided. He heard a woman crying. She did not want to say where she was. Nevertheless, during the several-minute conversation, the officer calmed her down and obtained information about her location. An ambulance crew and a police patrol were dispatched there.
Thanks to the police officer’s actions, the woman was found and her life was saved. The Bolesławiec resident was taken to hospital.
