One of the largest organizers of trips and other forms of recreation was the Legnica branch of the Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Dzieci. It organized summer camps for 500 participants. The children enjoyed stays in Międzyzdroje, Darłowo, Szklarska Poręba, Karpacz and even Italy.
The last days of the holidays also mean the final session at the TPD summer camp at the Morion centre in Karpacz on the Łomnica River. The very satisfied participants are enjoying numerous daily attractions. They have trips to the swimming pool and excursions along mountain trails organized for them, visit museums, take part in sports competitions and tournaments, and sing around the campfire.
Last weekend, the camp was visited by the director of the Department of Education, Culture and Sport, Halina Gawin-Majewska, together with her deputy, Zbigniew Rutka. The guests brought gifts in the form of sports equipment.
