Officers from the Criminal Division of Police Station II in Jelenia Góra detained a 20-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra suspected of robbery. They established that the incident occurred on 14 August this year, at approximately 1:30 a.m. The victim drove to one of the gaming arcades, where he was approached by a stranger who asked to borrow money.
When the victim refused, the perpetrator asked him for a ride to one of the housing estates in Jelenia Góra. The victim agreed, and they went to the car together.
During the journey, the perpetrator demanded the car keys, threatening to beat him and use a stun gun.
The victim handed over the keys, and the perpetrator drove away in his car. The pizza delivery driver valued the stolen car at approximately PLN 1,000.
The attacker was detained. Police recovered the stolen property. The 20-year-old could face up to 12 years in prison.
