– We had two options: either build a new facility or make use of the existing one. It seems that the second option will be somewhat cheaper and it will be somewhat easier to obtain funding for it – says Piotr Roman, mayor of Bolesławiec.
Payment for the building will be made in two installments. This year, the municipality paid just under PLN 600,000; next year, it will pay another PLN 600,000.
The design work and securing funding for the renovation will take a year and a half. The center will therefore begin operating only before the next elections, in 2018.
