A fire hydrant styled as a firefighter was installed on Witelona Street in Legnica, near the headquarters of the State Fire Service. It has an interesting shape and an unusual appearance. The device stands out with its look, which references its location.

It is already another non-standard hydrant in the city. The first one appeared near Primary School No. 9 on Marynarska Street. Its face resembles that of a smiling schoolchild. Devices of this kind enhance the aesthetics of their surroundings much more effectively than traditional hydrants. They are an interesting element of technical infrastructure.

These are not the only ideas implemented by LPWiK that appeal to residents. The two water gates installed by this municipal company in July on Najświętszej Marii Panny Street have proved hugely popular. They provide relief to passers-by tired from the heat.

Another idea that was also very well received was the installation of drinking fountains where people can drink water in Legnica’s schools, institutions and park.
