18th Kowary–Okraj Cycling Climb and 2nd Mountain Run

The Kowary Municipal Office reports that registration is now open for this year’s edition of the sporting competitions for the title of the Best Climber of the Eastern Karkonosze. Cyclists competing on road and MTB courses, as well as mountain runners, will vie for victory on the Kowary–Okraj Pass route.

For the eighteenth time, competitors will line up at the start of the Kowary–Okraj Cycling Climb to take on the grueling ascent on the road and mountain courses.

Runners, too—now for the second time—will tackle the grueling climb from the center of Kowary (approx. 480 m above sea level) to an elevation of more than one thousand meters above sea level, reaching the picturesque village of Mala Upa at Okraj Pass.
