In connection with celebrations of the feast day of the patron saint of drivers, St. Christopher, clergy from the Bolesławiec Parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Nicholas once again invited officers from the Traffic Division of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec to cooperate.

The first part of the joint activities involved patrolling the roads in our county. The duties were divided: police officers stopped drivers for checks and reminded them to observe the regulations, while the priest referred to the code of ethics that every driver should remember and handed out a holy card depicting St. Christopher.

The second part of the operation was a preventive meeting entitled “Stop Road Pirates,” conducted by an officer from the Bolesławiec traffic police and priest Artur Kotrys.

What do you think about such cooperation between clergy and the police? We invite you to join the discussion.
