For the sixth time, the Municipal Sports Centre and the Inter-School Sports Centre organised the Street Festival in Bolesławiec. A Street Basketball Tournament was held on the asphalt court at I LO. Nine teams took part in the tournament. The teams played in a round-robin system. The tournament was won by “Bonersi”, namely Piotr Rydz, Wojciech Wyrzykowski and Grzegorz Chmielowski. “Chikita” came second. The next places went to the “Fale Dunaju” and “Mona Liszaj” teams.
In addition to the street basketball matches, there were demonstrations of extreme BMX riding. The Wrocław-based “Street Headache” group performed bicycle stunts. The festival also featured graffiti painting and a breakdance performance by “APS Bunt”. There was also a demonstration of scratching and mixing vinyl records.
