On Wednesday, BKS Bolesławiec’s senior team played their 12th-round home match. Their opponents were AKS Strzegom, a team from the bottom of the fourth-division table. The visitors started the match without any inferiority complex. In the 4th minute, they sent a shot just wide of the BKS goal. In the 10th minute, AKS took the lead. The goal came from a corner kick. Marcin Wójcik beat Sebastian Łokaj with a header. Until the 20th minute, little happened on the pitch. BKS played chaotically. Inaccurate passes were a real scourge for our team. In the 24th minute, Marek Kumoś started an attack down the left side of the pitch. The BKS player passed to Paweł Rissmann, who let the ball run through to Radek Pietkiewicz, whose shot hit the crossbar. It was one of the few chances created by the Bolesławiec side. The visitors created more opportunities. In the 36th minute, the equaliser came. Łukasz Akacki beat the AKS goalkeeper with a shot into the far corner. In the 45th minute, the same player played the ball to Paweł Rissmann, but he shot too weakly and the visiting goalkeeper caught the ball without difficulty.

The second half began with a dangerous Bolesławiec attack. In the 48th minute, the visitors were saved by the post after Robert Nitarski’s shot. In the 55th minute, BKS were already 2–1 ahead. Radek Pietkiewicz let the ball run through to Paweł Rissmann, who settled the score with a gentle shot into the left corner. What happened on the pitch afterwards could be described as “the Bolesławiec road through torment”. In the 57th minute, the Strzegom goalkeeper received a second yellow card and had to leave the pitch. Interestingly, the visitors had arrived without a reserve goalkeeper, so the goalscorer, Marcin Wójcik, took his place in goal. From that moment, the Bolesławiec side had a numerical advantage, but despite this they could not threaten the visitors’ goal. Despite leading, BKS’s play resembled “banging their heads against a wall”. Łukasz Akacki and Radek Pietkiewicz shot wide. In the 84th minute, Paweł Rissmann missed badly from point-blank range. Late in the match, Tomasz Krzywonos (BKS) and Sebastian Bęś (AKS) had to leave the pitch after receiving two yellow cards. After a very poor match, BKS Bolesławiec beat AKS Strzegom 2–1.
