Police officers detained a 27-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra who robbed another resident of the city. The suspect approached the victim, who was sitting on a bench, and demanded money. When the man refused, the attacker began beating and kicking him all over his body. He then stole PLN 25 and a mobile phone. The victim suffered serious bodily injuries.
The attacker was taken into police custody. He confessed to the crime. Police officers applied for his temporary detention.
The detainee faces up to 12 years in prison.
