Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyna received a report about the disappearance of a 23-year-old man. The police were notified by the employer, who was concerned about the lack of contact with his employee.

The 23-year-old, who had driven a lorry to Germany, left the vehicle at a repair shop. However, after the fault was fixed, he did not come to collect it. Moreover, the missing man did not answer calls from his employer, who was concerned by the situation.

The business owner tried to determine the 23-year-old’s whereabouts on his own. Without success. He also received information that a farewell letter suggesting an intention to commit suicide had appeared on the 23-year-old’s profile on a social networking site.

Officers searched for the 23-year-old for several hours. It was established that the young man had boarded a train on the Bolesławiec–Wrocław route.

At the railway station in Wrocław, officers from the railway police station detained the wanted 23-year-old. The “missing” man was very surprised to learn that he was being sought. He was unable to explain why he had posted a farewell letter on his profile. He stated that “it was some kind of mistake on his part”.
