The duty officer at the Lubin police station received a telephone report that a drunk man was behaving aggressively and damaging a bus shelter in the Przylesie housing estate. Police officers immediately went to the scene and detained the perpetrator in the act.
He turned out to be a 26-year-old resident of Lubin. He was intoxicated. A breathalyser test showed more than one per mille of alcohol.
The perpetrator explained that he had become angry with his girlfriend, with whom he had argued shortly before the incident, and had needed to take his anger out on something. He managed to smash one pane, while he kicked the other out of its frame, causing damage worth more than PLN 400.
The young man from Lubin was taken into police custody.
