Father Edward Bober was ordained on June 19, 1955. This Sunday, the anniversary was celebrated in his former parish. Father Bober spoke about the history of the church by Zamkowy Square and the difficulties involved in rebuilding it. He also mentioned the former Protestant parish house, recovered in 1982, and the construction of the cross. Later, he spoke about his priesthood. He was proud that during his time, 14 men from this parish were ordained.

– If someone asked me today whether I would decide to become a priest again, I would say yes. Times are changing and are somewhat different, but if a priest decides to be ordained and takes his priesthood seriously, he will persevere to the end. It is worthwhile to be a priest, but one who is completely devoted to Christ and the Holy Church – said the jubilarian, Father Edward Bober.

After the Mass, presided over by Auxiliary Bishop of Legnica Marek Mendyk, the faithful offered Father Bober their congratulations.
