The Lower Silesian Key to Success is a regional distinction highly regarded in local-government, cultural and business circles. During the ceremony, Zgorzelec County Starost Artur Bieliński accepted a special distinction and the key for the County for cross-border cooperation between Saxony and Lower Silesia.
While thanking the Chapter, the Starost also thanked his predecessors, who contributed to receiving this distinction. County Secretary Bogusław Białoń received expressions of recognition and respect for his special contribution to building friendly relations between Lower Silesia and Saxony, as well as good-neighborly relations between Görlitz and Zgorzelec in 1990–2015.
The invited guests also included: Senator of the Republic of Poland Jan Michalski, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Cezary Przybylski, Deputy Marshal Ewa Mańkowska, Deputy Voivode of Lower Silesia Joanna Bronowicka, Voivodeship Assembly councillor Kazimierz Janik, Deputy Starost Andrzej Tyc, and full-time member of the Zgorzelec County Board Ireneusz Owsik.
