Two passenger cars collided in Raciborowice Górne. According to the police's preliminary findings, the collision occurred when the Volkswagen driver was attempting to join the traffic. The 40-year-old woman, a resident of Nowa Wieś Grodziska, was joining the traffic after setting off from the left side of the road. Therefore, to reach her lane, she first had to cross the lane intended for traffic travelling in the opposite direction. In addition, another car was stopped in front of her vehicle and obstructed her view.
Unfortunately, as she attempted to join the traffic, a Ford Mondeo approached from the opposite direction and the two vehicles collided. Both the Volkswagen driver and the Ford driver, a 21-year-old resident of Nowa Wieś, were taken to hospital with spinal injuries. Since the incident was classified as an accident, the case will ultimately be decided in court. The drivers were sober.
