The first took place on June 13, at around 7:20 p.m., on Podwale Street in Jelenia Góra. Preliminary findings indicate that a 43-year-old Kia driver, on Mostowa Street—while turning into the Robotnicze housing estate, near a pedestrian crossing—hit a 67-year-old man, who was taken to hospital with fractures.
That same day, at around 8:20 p.m. in Dziwiszów, another accident occurred. According to preliminary findings, a 32-year-old driver of a Fiat Punto, descending from Podgórki toward Jelenia Góra, lost control on a bend and collided with a BMW traveling in the opposite direction, driven by a 27-year-old resident of Jawor County. Two female passengers in the Fiat suffered serious injuries.
Then, at around 8:48 p.m. on Rejtana Street in Kowary, a Citroen driver hit a 65-year-old pedestrian, who most likely stepped into the path of the moving car. The pedestrian was taken to hospital.
Meanwhile, on June 14, at around 4:30 p.m., on Szosa Czeska in Szklarska Poręba, a 33-year-old motorcyclist from Wałbrzych most likely failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions, lost control, crossed into the opposite lane and hit the side of a bus. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with fractures. None of the bus passengers was injured.
