Young people interested in creative activities took part in the Youth Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium. The aim of this year’s event was to integrate the community of young ceramic artists from Bolesławiec (participants of the BOK Ceramic Workshop) and Česká Lípa (students of the Ceramic School in Bechyne).
For two weeks in August, the young people created works under the motto “Without borders...”. This year’s workshop was another joint artistic project carried out as part of the cooperation established in 2004. The result will be a post-symposium exhibition, which will be presented in Czechia and Poland. A catalogue will also be published.
Jana Glaserova was the artistic coordinator of the symposium, and Czesław Matyjewicz was its technical coordinator. The project “Polish-Czech Youth Ceramic and Sculpture Symposium in Bolesławiec” was co-financed by the European Union from the resources of the European Regional Development Fund under the Community Initiative Programme Interreg IIIA Czech Republic-Poland in the Nysa Euroregion, as well as from the state budget.
