On Wednesday, police officers from Bolesławiec discovered an illegal municipal waste dump. The officers' attention was drawn to a lorry parked in front of one of the abandoned hangars in Krzywa, within the Special Economic Zone. One-third of the lorry's trailer was loaded with rubbish. The rest of the waste was already inside the hangar. The officers also found waste in another hangar. It was established that the rubbish had probably been brought from Germany. The lorry driver was detained pending clarification.
