Bolesławiec Market Square has long been an attractive place for leisure, especially on weekends. The area is well maintained and many people spend time there. There are also cyclists. Sometimes they stop, and sometimes they simply ride through. It may seem that their presence in this place is natural. Unfortunately, it is not. The signs placed around the square prohibit all vehicles from using it. There is an exception, but it does not apply to bicycles. Therefore, by entering Market Square by bicycle, we are breaking the rules.
At our request, the city president’s spokesperson, Agnieszka Gergont, asked Piotr Roman about the matter. The president decided that the issue of bicycle traffic in Market Square should be subject to public discussion. Therefore, we encourage you to express your opinion in the poll below.
