From today, Polskie Radio Wrocław will present a monograph unlike any other production of this kind. "Klaus Mitffoch – music that broke down walls" is the guiding theme of the series about the iconic rock group. The band is regarded as one of the most important for people whose character and way of understanding the world were shaped in the 1980s. In a poll conducted by Magazyn Muzyczny, industry journalists decided that Klaus Mitffoch had created the album of the thirty-year period.

The band’s monograph was prepared over two months. It consists of fifteen episodes. The programme’s creators will present the group’s history and the reasons for its breakup in detail.

The series "Klaus Mitffoch – music that broke down walls" will be broadcast on Polskie Radio Wrocław from 4 September, daily from Monday to Friday, after 11:30 a.m.

Klaus Mitffoch is a Polish punk rock band founded in 1979 by Lech Janerka. The band’s biggest hit was the song Jezu jak się cieszę (1984). The band was disbanded twice – in 1984 and 1989. The names associated with the group are: Lech Janerka, Krzysztof Pociecha, Kazimierz Sycz, Zbigniew Kapturski, Jacek Fedorowicz, Paweł Chylinski, Wiesław Mrozik and Marek Puchała.
