Giraffes at Nasze Zoo? Alpacas Nakoma and Shrek Get Summer Haircuts

A slender body on long legs, a proudly extended long neck, and a small head with an elegant nose. The animals living in the rural enclosure look like giraffes. However, we are talking about our old acquaintances: the alpacas Nakoma and Shrek.

What caused such changes in the alpacas’ appearance? The director of Nasze Zoo, Dr Sven Hammer, took care of their styling and gave the alpacas summer haircuts. The treatment was necessary because the animals were too hot under their thick layer of wool.
