– And not only among those just passing through – emphasize officials from Nowogrodziec. – Nowogrodziec is also becoming a highly valued destination for tourists from Poland and abroad. In May alone, around 1,000 tourists in organized groups registered with the Tourist Educational and Cultural Information Point visited the Nowogrodziec gmina, as did informal groups and individual tourists.
They add: – We hosted tourist groups from Gryfów Śląski twice, as well as groups from Wrocław, Jelenia Góra, Bolesławiec, Lubin, Legnica and Lubań, along with kayakers from Żagań, Osiecznica, Węgliniec and Zgorzelec. Visitors from Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and France, as well as Ukraine and Bosnia and Herzegovina, are also happy to visit Nowogrodziec.
