All the planned activities are intended to serve tourists staying in the Lower Kwisa area and make it easier for them to travel along the water trail by kayak or raft. In a safe and nature-friendly manner, tourists will be able to discover the exceptionally picturesque corners of this section of the Kwisa River.
The project “For the Kwisa, for Nature – preparation of small-scale tourist infrastructure to protect the Kwisa River from excessive tourist pressure”, co-financed by the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 2007–2013 and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, is being implemented by the “Zielona Akcja” Ecological Foundation from Legnica, in cooperation with the Municipal Office in Nowogrodziec and the local governments of Osiecznica and Żagań.
