It is worth recalling that residents have already been using the equipment at the multi-generational playground since last year. The new layout of the playground has created greater opportunities to use the park for events promoting exercise and active leisure and—above all—the creation of several recreation zones for all age groups.
The youngest children have a “Farm” corner at their disposal, as well as inclusive equipment accessible to children who use wheelchairs. Fitness equipment, equipment for seniors and a health trail have been installed in three sports and fitness zones.
Older children have access to a rope playground, a climbing wall and multifunctional play sets. Varied surfaces are intended to ensure safe play. Those looking for a quieter corner have not been forgotten either.
An additional attraction of the multi-generational playground is a set of educational boards that form part of a nature trail implemented by Gmina Miejska Bolesławiec with the support of the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Wrocław.
The new equipment, paths and surfaces have been integrated into the existing trees and vegetation. A new feature is a dog toilet on the park grounds.
