As usual, on the first Sunday of June, we will be waiting for you at the sports field in Bolesławice, where everyone will find something for themselves. There will be no shortage of Balkan delicacies, such as pita and pećenica, while Polish and Balkan ensembles will perform on stage. Earlier, athletes will compete in a 2,700-metre race, and everyone attending the Festa will have the opportunity to test themselves in other competitions. We have also prepared a special exhibition that will certainly bring back many memories for the re-emigrants living in our municipality. The evening’s star will be the KUD “Baščaršija” ensemble.

As in previous years, the events taking place on Friday and Saturday will serve as an introduction to the Balkan Festa. On 5 June at 5:00 p.m., we invite you to the gymnasium of the School and Preschool Complex in Bożejowice, where the KUD “Baščaršija” ensemble will perform. It is an ensemble from Sarajevo whose repertoire includes songs and dances from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the territories of the former Yugoslavia.

On Saturday, 6 June, at 1:00 p.m., free dance workshops will begin in Dąbrowa Bolesławiecka, Brzeźnik and Ocice. Those who prefer singing and listening to music instead of dancing are invited to the garden of the Europa Restaurant in Kruszyn. “Group Music-Making by the Fire” will begin there at 8:00 p.m. Admission: PLN 10.
