Police officers from the Economic Crime Department of the Jelenia Góra Municipal Police Headquarters detained a 26-year-old man suspected of fraud.
As they established, the man submitted a falsified employment and salary certificate to one of Jelenia Góra’s financial institutions. The fraudster was applying for a loan of PLN 3,500.
It turned out that the document used by the 26-year-old was false, and the company named in it did not exist at all. The detainee himself is unemployed.
The man has similar offenses on his record. He now faces up to 8 years in prison.
