The concert will take place on Wednesday, 27 May, at 7:00 p.m. at the Bolesławiec Marian Sanctuary on Kościelna Street. Admission is free.
The concert programme includes Bartłomiej Pękiel’s Missa Pulcherrima and Grzegorz Gerwazy Gorczycki’s Completorium, as well as other short works.
The soloists performing under the baton of Andrzej Kosendiak will be Aldona Bartnik – soprano, Matthew Venner – countertenor, Maciej Gocman – tenor, and Tomàš Kràl – bass. The soloists will be accompanied by the Wrocław Baroque Ensemble, comprising: Mikołaj Zgółka – violino I, Małgorzata Kosendiak – violino II, Julia Karpeta – viola da gamba, Janusz Musiał – double bass, Přemysl Vacek – theorbo, Russell Gilmour – trumpet I and Steven Gilbey – trumpet II, Andrzej Kosendiak – organ.
