Once again, the same man climbed onto the Millennium Cross. The fire service, police and emergency medical services are at the scene. A dozen onlookers have also gathered in the area. Most recently, the 56-year-old climbed onto the cross at the end of March.
After two hours of the operation, a police negotiator managed to persuade the man to climb down from the cross.
