There will be art, ceramics, dance, music and theatre activities. We are waiting for you from 3:00 p.m. in the square behind BOK-MCC. All attractions are free of charge!

We will begin the celebrations with a dance performance and the “Dance ma sens” workshops, led by modern dance instructors Krystyna Abramowicz and Katarzyna Tomczyk-Jakubowska.

Well-known Bolesławiec artists invite you to clay workshops. At Czesław Matyjewicz’s “Gliniany Koncert” sculpting workshops, children will create small and tiny sculptural forms and learn how to make miniature versions of their favourite or most disliked animals and other beings. Meanwhile, at Mateusz Grobelny’s “Zakręcone Miejsce” workshops, young artists will discover the secrets of the potter’s wheel.

The “Wielkie malowanie” art classes will be led by Dorota Dziedzic-Lechowska and Katarzyna Zarówny. The participants will create a unique work on a huge canvas. The programme will also include the “Budowanie skrzynki strachu” art workshops with Grażyna Hanaf, author of the fairy tale “Dziewczynka-skrzynka”.

We encourage singing enthusiasts to perform before an audience in the “Mini Playback Show”. In the song contest, children from primary and lower-secondary schools take on the roles of adult artists and perform their songs. Participants choose the songs themselves, prepare for the performance and bring backing tracks. Applications are accepted until 29 May at CIK “Orzeł”, tel. 75 645 35 98, or by email at artist@bok.boleslawiec.pl. The contact person is Agata Pińczuk-Burdzy. Applications must include the participant’s first name, surname, age, artist and song title. For the performance, be sure to bring your own audio CD or a recording on a USB flash drive.

You will also have the opportunity to take part in the “Przeganianie Babajagi” theatrical happening prepared by Urszula Frąszczak-Matyjewicz.

At 5:00 p.m., we warmly invite you to the outdoor performance “Piracka opowieść o niezwykłych kłopotach”, presented by the actors of the IMPREZARIUM Culture Promotion Studio. Full of humour and interwoven with games involving the children, the performance tells the story of Ziutek, a naughty boy who gets into trouble because of his constant lies and is kidnapped by an evil pirate. From then on, the boy will have to make quite an effort to regain his freedom…

The final item in our programme will be an opening of an exhibition of ceramic bas-reliefs made by children during the winter holidays at classes held at BOK-MCC. The “Tęczowe Światy” exhibition opening will take place at 6:00 p.m. in the BOK-MCC foyer, first floor.
