After the renovation of aleja Tysiąclecia, it was time to install its road signs. Unfortunately, the company responsible for painting road markings installed one of the left-turn markings too early. The left-turn marking currently leads onto the lawn and pavement. The kerb has already been lowered at this location because an entrance to the property was planned there, but the investor has not built it yet. The problem is that there is currently nothing there, so the road marking is incorrect. If an incident occurs at this location, the road manager may be held responsible.
What is also amusing about the whole situation is that the Bolec journalist who notified the police about the incorrect road marking initially—as the police officer said—positioned himself at the entrance to the petrol station, and then, after being reprimanded by the police, parked his car right next to the explosion hazard zone, where a no-stopping sign has been installed.
