The first is a dance and fashion show by the youth dance groups led at MDK by Inna Błaszczyk. We invite you to the show on Tuesday, 19 May; it begins at 18:30. In the foyer beneath the green dome, the students of our outstanding choreographer will present specially prepared dance routines—from the youngest performers to the oldest members of the Inna Show dance ensemble. You will also be able to admire outfits prepared, among others, by Infanti, Agdar, New Men and Martes Sport, as well as the shop of Beata Świderska-Paszkiewicz. As usual, one of the biggest attractions will be a wedding-dress show. You have to see it! Admission free.
The second event we would like to invite everyone to is the Saturday concert “Muzyczna Zadyma 2015”. The following bands will perform on the MDK stage: Sweet Kitty, KoRdon, Quarter Pipe, Syntezja and Lazy 5. The explosive music begins at 18:00. Admission free!
We also strongly encourage you to join us on Sunday. That day, at 5 p.m., we will gather in the auditorium to read poetry dedicated to our mothers, moms and mummies in the glow of candlelight and surrounded by the aroma of fresh coffee. The evening promises to be incredible. We invite young people and mothers. We are sure it will be moving. Admission free!
Of course, we also invite you to our Poza Nova cinema, where this week you can see “Fanka”, directed by Jeanne Herry. It is a black comedy about how far a fan can go for her idol. In the film, you will meet Muriel, a mythomaniac to whom unbelievable stories keep happening. She is also the number-one fan of pop star Vincent Lacroix. And sometimes dreams do come true... One evening, standing at Muriel’s apartment door is none other than Vincent Lacroix himself.
You have to see it—and tickets cost only PLN 11. The lights go down from Monday to Wednesday at 18:31.
Among the events taking place beneath the green dome this week, we would also like to draw your particular attention to the ceremonial Polish-German session of the local governments of Zgorzelec and Görlitz. The annual meeting of councillors will take place on 22 May, beginning at 16:30. In addition to current issues concerning Polish-German cooperation, medals bearing the title “Meritorious for the European City of Zgorzelec-Görlitz” will be presented in the presence of the councillors. It is worth seeing and worth taking part in.
We invite you!
