All this awaits customers of the Legnica ZUS Branch on Wednesday, 20 May. That is precisely when the Open Day for People with Disabilities will be held at ZUS.
The aim of this special day is to give people with disabilities and their loved ones the opportunity to obtain information about their rights in one place. Therefore, on 20 May, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., additional expert information stands will be set up in the Customer Service Hall of the Legnica ZUS Branch at 26 Władysława Grabskiego Street:
- the Municipal Disability Assessment Team, whose representative will explain the rules for assessing disability and the changing rules for issuing parking cards (attention: this is new!)
- the pension prevention department, where visitors will be able to learn how to go to a sanatorium through ZUS (a special helpline will also operate at the stand, number 76 876 43 81 – by calling it, you can obtain such advice by telephone)
- the department responsible for granting social pensions and pensions due to incapacity for work
- the Legnica Occupational Therapy Workshop, whose participants will present the artistic works they have created.
Every visitor to ZUS during the Open Day for People with Disabilities will receive an information booklet—an exceptional knowledge base for people with disabilities. The guide can later be passed on to others.
Special guests of the Legnica Branch will also include students from the Piasts of Silesia Integrated Schools Complex in Legnica, who will make an educational visit to ZUS and explore parts of the institution that are normally inaccessible to people from outside the company.
The Open Day will begin on 20 May promptly at 9 a.m. and will last until 2 p.m..
