The incident occurred on Friday, 15 May. A police car collided with a Honda. The incident took place near the intersection of Garncarska Street and Lubańska Street, in the vicinity of the Millennium Cross. Preliminary findings indicate that the police car was responding to an intervention. Its light and siren signals were activated.
The collision occurred while the vehicle was turning onto Lubańska Street. As a result, the police officer and the Honda driver—a resident of Jelenia Góra—were injured. Both drivers were sober. They were both taken to hospital. The cause of the collision is being determined.
