Children from Bożejowice, Dąbrowa Bolesławiecka, Kruszyn, Kraśnik Dolny, Żeliszów, Ocice, Trzebień and Mniszek in the Czech Republic took part in the competition. They competed in five events that required the children to demonstrate not only physical fitness, but also the ability to work as a team.
Before the sporting competition began, the participants were welcomed by the director of the School and Preschool Complex and the Deputy Head of Bolesławiec Municipality, Roman Jaworski. They wished the competitors perseverance and stressed that the event should be guided by the principles of fair play.
The youngest group of preschoolers from Bożejowice prepared a special artistic performance. Together with Tygrysek, the school’s new mascot, they presented a dance routine, also getting their friends from other schools dancing.
The supporters’ enthusiastic and loud cheering inspired the competitors, who put their whole hearts into the competition. Ultimately, prizes and diplomas went to everyone, because every team deserved to win.
