The event will be held under the slogan: “O-kupo-wany Pieńsk – owner, clean up after your dog”. As part of the event, artworks created by pupils of schools and a kindergarten in this municipality will be presented. All the works will be exhibited in front of EuRegioKom on that day. The three best works from each institution will receive awards.
The aim of the event is to change the awareness and habits of dog owners, because owning a dog involves not only pleasures but also responsibilities. One of them is cleaning up after your pet.
Distributors with bags for dog waste have been installed throughout the town. After using a bag from a dispenser or an ordinary plastic bag, the waste should be thrown into a street bin.
Officials remind residents that failing to clean up after a dog may result in a fine of up to PLN 500.
