The event, organized to mark International Firefighter’s Day, is intended for children and adults, and the attractions planned for Saturday afternoon will please everyone. The event will begin at 2:00 p.m. with a medical rescue demonstration by the Volunteer Fire Service from Ścinawa. Plenty of games and contests for children are planned for the entire afternoon.

Adults, meanwhile, will be able to watch a drone demonstration by the Volunteer Search and Rescue Service from Lubin. In addition, demonstrations of extinguishing fires with handheld firefighting equipment, a flight by a Dromader firefighting aircraft, a vehicle-fire extinguishing demonstration, and powered paraglider flights over the festival grounds by the Volunteer Search and Rescue Service from Lubin are planned. Throughout the event, many exceptional attractions will be waiting for you, including:

  • climbing a mobile climbing wall
  • rides in a horse-drawn fire engine
  • demonstrations of mountaineering techniques (zip line) by the Volunteer Search and Rescue Service from Lubin
  • first-aid demonstrations – conducted by JRG Lubin
  • a pool filled with firefighting foam
  • a presentation of rescue vehicles and equipment belonging to the State Fire Service and Volunteer Fire Services from Lubin County
  • a presentation of historic fire engines.

During the festival, at 4:00 p.m. you will be able to hear the Lubawka Firefighters’ Brass Band, while the highlight – at 8:00 p.m. – will be a performance by Donatan and Cleo.

The organizers of this year’s festival are: county fire service units, the Lubin County Office, the Regional Sports Center, and the City of Lubin, Lubin Municipality, Ścinawa Municipality and Rudna Municipality.
