On Thursday, young people from the BOK-MCC contemporary dance studio performed on the Forum stage. They presented an interesting and highly expressive performance, “Metanoia.” The performance and choreography were created by the group’s instructor, Halina Bałacka-Kłak. The event was also a charity initiative. The Polish Red Cross organized a fundraiser to pay for Kuba and Filip’s treatment.
The performance “Metanoia” premiered in 2012, but it has now been staged with a completely new cast. Two groups danced in it: “Nockturn” and “Modus.” The “Nocturn” group consisted of: Magdalena Bielak, Lenka Szymecka, Karolina Zdunek, Agata Stachowiak, Magdalena Szewc, Maja Janiszewska, Martyna Bartczak, Wiktoria Kot, Martyna Bachusz, Magdalena Mikołajczuk, Pola Dorosz, Karolina Kołodziej, Diana Cieśla, Kamil Raczyński, Nikola Haniszewska, Julia Hil, Kamila Wiśniewska, Karolina Sowińska, Nadia Kapral, Aleksandra Dębińska, Alicja Fulczyńska, Jagoda Czarnota, Katarzyna Mróz, Alicja Korczowska, Aleksandra Jopkiewicz, Karolina Zawada, Jacek Rynkiewicz, as well as Emilia Dybał, Julia Długosz, Gabriela Kłak, Aleksandra Dobies and Dariusz Rudzik. The “Modus” group consisted of: Karolina Kłak, Julia Babijczuk, Aleksandra Bartczak, Wiktoria Tkaczyk, Liliana Scelina, Paulina Owerko, Alicja Piestrzyńska, Klaudia Ferlewicz, Patrycja Boluk, Zuzanna Woźnica, Gabriela Michla, Alicja Basińska, Emilia Miklus, Laura Łomotowska, Karolina Domańska, Dominika Ozga, Patrycja Midera and Kornelia Groń.
The texts for the performance were written by Joanna Ruban. Piotr Gnyszka prepared the sound editing and will also perform as the narrator. Excerpts from the performance have been successfully presented at various dance showcases and competitions, receiving awards and distinctions.
