The circle includes teachers and librarians from primary schools, lower-secondary schools and secondary schools in Bolesławiec, Chojnów, Legnica, Lubin and Polkowice. The Polish Bibliotherapy Association conducts activities in many areas. On the one hand, these are local activities carried out by the circles, and on the other, regional and nationwide activities.
The Legnica Bibliotherapy Circle primarily promotes reading and popularises bibliotherapy in the local community – including among school and preschool teachers – as well as conducting courses, training sessions and workshops incorporating elements of bibliotherapy.
The Legnica Circle meets several times a year. It is an opportunity to share knowledge and experience. Each time, the meetings are held at different institutions, in a different location, and concern a different topic to work on. The meetings are open, and anyone who loves books and would like to participate in workshops incorporating elements of bibliotherapy is welcome.
