“Mała Wielkanoc” is not a culinary competition, although the taste and aesthetic qualities of the prepared dishes are also taken into account. Greater emphasis is placed, however, on their conformity to tradition, the method of preparation, the type of container used and, finally, the way the entire table is decorated.
During this exceptional event, old songs and customs associated with the Easter period are performed and presented on stage.
The Women’s Rural Housewives’ Association in Zebrzydowa took first place in the Easter table category and received a distinction in the outstanding Easter dish category. Meanwhile, hostess Mirosława Kotwica took third place in the Easter egg decorating competition.
