Everyone who did not manage to register electronically can still take part in the run. All they need to do is come to the race office and register the traditional way.
On Sunday, 26 April, the race office located at the Salesian High School will be open from 16:00 to 17:30.
26 April is fast approaching. RCS invites all running enthusiasts to the second Pope’s Run, dedicated to commemorating the first anniversary of the canonisation of Pope John Paul II. The event is held under the patronage of the Mayor of Lubin, the Starost of Lubin County and the Head of Lubin Commune.
– We invite both experienced runners and beginners to take part in the event. The start of the 2nd Pope’s Run will take place on 26 April at 18:18 outside Lubin Town Hall, with the finish by the Church of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. The route runs through the city streets and is 5,400 m long, the event organisers explain.
As last year, additional runs will also be held: a 200 m run for preschoolers and a school run covering 600 m.
Anyone may take part in the main run, provided they complete a declaration confirming their fitness to run. Competitors will receive starter packs containing a race number, chip, safety pins and a race T-shirt. During the run, all participants must wear the T-shirt and race number.

The entry fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person.
Cash prizes await the best competitors. In addition, the three top-ranked residents of Lubin (women and men), residents of Lubin County and residents of Lubin Commune, as well as the three best married couples, will receive commemorative trophies.
Moreover, every participant who completes the run will receive a commemorative medal.
