On Wednesday (22 April), around 50 Russians arrived in Bolesławiec. Men and women of various ages came to pay tribute to Soviet soldiers who fell during World War II. Our eastern neighbors arrived in 15 vehicles: passenger cars, off-road vehicles and vans.
The police accompanied them on their way to Bolesławiec. Officers are helping the guests from Russia travel through our country. The Russians stopped briefly in the parking lot in the village of Łąka. It is known that they will spend the night in hotels and guesthouses in Bolesławiec and the surrounding area. They have planned a visit to the Soviet soldiers’ cemetery for Thursday.
