While patrolling national road no. 30 (the Zgorzelec–Jelenia Góra route via Lubań), officers from the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters spotted an Audi whose driver was overtaking in a prohibited place. What is more, a moment later the man decided to prevent another driver from carrying out an overtaking maneuver that had just begun. By blocking the left lane, the Audi driver came close to causing an accident.
The officers checked the driver’s identity. He turned out to be a 31-year-old teacher at one of the secondary schools. It is worth adding that the man was carrying four students. For the serious violation of traffic regulations and safety rules, the officers seized the 31-year-old’s driving licence.
The case will end up in court.
